It has been a busy week at the farm and we are all enjoying the beautiful weather and fun with our friends. New friendships are truly forming and they are so precious.
We are still learning and exploring with water and have started asking lots of great questions. On Thursday we even learned about H2O and discussed the big words of hydrogen and oxygen….so fun to sing a song and dance listening to H20 Woah! 😄
This week we finished our early literacy assessments, so if your child said they got to “play a game with Ms. Hollie, that is what they are talking about. These assessments just show us what areas of literacy we need to focus on for each student.
Since I am away from my desk in a a camper for a dirt bike race, I don’t have the list of letters for this week, so be sure to ask your child each day what letter we learned.
One activity that we are really working on at school is putting papers in our folders and putting them in our bags. It has been a lot of work loading up 20 folders and bags at the end of the day. If you could take a few minutes each day and practice putting papers in folders and then putting them in their bags, that would be amazing! Thank you!
Kim dropped off pictures to me yesterday, so you will have those proofs to pick up on Monday. Also, your child has a consent to use pictures or quotes form in their folder. This form is for a book publication that goes along with the water STEM class that we are taking.
Please return the consent form and any other physical or immunization forms you still need to get to me. I sent an email to families that still needed paperwork handed in. 👍
Have a blessed weekend and enjoy every little bit of time with your sweet children.
No School this coming Tuesday.
