The magic of the season and the crazy of the children has hit hard at The Big Red Barn. We are all just a little excited about the program and Christmas and my have forgotten how to sit still and keep our volume down. This is when every teacher deserves some kind of free therapy, but we are embracing the crazy and enjoying the miracle of Jesus. Thank goodness Ms. Kelly and I have a sense of humor and can just laugh instead of cry when we have lost control. Let them be little!?!?! I'm just keeping it rural....no sugar coating over here.
Your children did an amazing job on Gingerbread house creating this week. The houses turned out amazing and the self-control of not eating them and the concentration was beyond my wildest dreams. We were very proud of their creations.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 14TH- POLAR EXPRESS AND GINGERBREAD MAN *Wear pajamas
WEDNESDAY,DECEMBER 15TH- PROGRAM PRACTICE AT GRACE CHURCH FROM 9-10. NO REGULAR PRESCHOOL. DROP YOUR CHILD OFF AT 9 AND PICK THEM UP AT 10.
This is going to be a SUPER fast week, but one of my favorite activities is on Tuesday. Tuesday we will be making a gingerbread man in my kitchen upstairs and we are hoping he does not run away. ;) I may have 20 beautiful children running all through my house finding clues and hunting for the little guy. He may be in the bathtub, in the attic, in the laundry room, in the bedroom, etc. It is going to get crazy and so beautiful. I can't tell you how happy I am to be back making these memories with the children. Last year, none of this happened. Tuesday is also our Polar Express Day, so have your child wear their pajamas and be ready for a magical train ride when they arrive at school. We will drink hot cocoa and jump on the train and read the Polar Express. :)
