Wow, what an amazing week of talking about Jesus and all things Christmas! Our room is decorated and the children and teachers are all excited for this busy and beautiful time of year. The weather has been so amazing! We actually practiced our program out in the driveway this week instead of the large motor room. I'm pretty sure this is the first time we have been able to practice songs and lines outside and for that, we are thankful. The fresh air has been amazing, as germ season is in full swing in our classroom. :(
Please remember that Monday is our Gingerbread house decorating party and your child will be coming home with the most darling apron that Ms. Kelly's mom so kindly made for each of your children. THANK YOU to everyone for bringing in a bag of candy and for the many of you that Brough graham crackers and frosting. I spent Friday night burning my little fingers making our houses and even though it is painful, it makes my heart so happy that we are able to do these activities together again. This year, we will not be having each parent come to help with our classroom parties, but please know that we are thankful for you and will take lots of pictures. We truly feel it is best for the children to have less adults in the classroom.
We are so excited for our program and I promise that you will immediately be put in the Christmas spirit and leave remembering that Jesus is why we have all of these celebrations. Your children are doing amazing with their parts and we are so proud of them! The program is so short, but worth all the effort.
Please let us know if you have any questions. We will keep sending out reminders about important dates.
Merry Christmas!
Ms. Hollie and Ms. Kelly
