It was a busy week of finishing assessments, holding conferences and enjoying every moment with these beautiful children. We loved talking with you about how special each of your children are, as they truly all have such beautiful gifts to share with this crazy world. :)
We are home now and enjoying our time to reflect and praise God for all the blessings we all have. I pray that you will take this week to enjoy the moments with your families and take time to pray for the rest of our year.
We have a super busy and amazing month ahead of us, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus and all the magic that comes along with the Christmas season. I get anxious and excited thinking about all the memories we will be making as a classroom family.
We are going through our second cycle of our alphabet learning and worked on O,P,Q and R this past week. Keep reviewing letters with your children and always make it fun! I know it is very old fashioned, but there is something about The Letter Factory that sticks with children. I don't usually recommend technology, but when your child is having some time on electronics, just watch The Letter Factory on You Tube...it just seems to help letters sink in. :)
As we learned all about the story of Thanksgiving, we also have continued learning about ramps and thinking more and more about the shape of the object that goes down the ramp(some slide, some roll and some won't go at all), the force needed for some objects, the incline, the force and the engineering of ramps themselves. We have gone through LOTS of tape. We would love some donations of tape of any kind. :) We could also use some more disinfecting wipes, as we have been cleaning like crazy. Thank you so much!
I will be sending out a list of dates in December with all our party and celebration dates so we can all get organized for this busy time of year.
Big hugs,
Ms. Hollie and Ms. Kelly
