We have babies and we are a bit obsessed! It is often hard to get things done, as our sweet tiny humans want to hang out by the tadpole aquarium all day! :) We have also discovered that along with our frog spawn, came LOTS of mosquito larva. Ugh. We are hoping for the best and to avoid a classroom full of mature mosquitoes. We are learning all about the life on a pond and how there is so much that goes on around a pond, both during the day and at night. We are truly blessed to have two ponds right next to preschool that we can explore and learn about first hand.
Our main focus right now is on tadpoles and frogs, but we will see what our next pond discovery is. We do have a goose setting under a tree at one of the ponds and she has 8 eggs in her nest, so I am sure this will lead to a new study soon. Next week we will also be welcoming a gosling and duckling to the farm, as two new babies will be shipped to The Big Red Barn to join the fun! We can't wait to meet them! Praying for safe travels, as they come all the way from California.
I know it is a very busy time for all of us, so I thank you for making the time to attend spring conferences this week. It is always so nice to sit and talk with you and your children. Thank you again and again!
Our last day of preschool and our graduation date will be May 21st. Originally, we were going to have school on the 23rd, but we decided to not come back after they officially graduated. Graduation will begin at 6:30. Please have your child at the church, no later than 6:20.
I honestly can't believe we are so close to the end of the year! We are going to enjoy the last month of school loving and learning together and treasuring our friendships that have blossomed so much this year. Watching your children grow is a blessing that I simply can't describe. Each and every child means the world to me and I can't thank you enough for sharing them with me and working so hard to get them to and from school each day. I know it is not easy, but it is very much appreciated. I love you all!
Have a Happy Easter!
