Birds have been fun, but we are losing interest and ready to move on. We did some measuring last week using a snowflake ruler and the students had a blast! We love to measure and will begin a new study on all the different ways to measure. Be ready for your children to measure everything at home! We are learning about how many different ways we can measure and have been using lots of different measuring tools. With this unit, we will be diving in pretty deep with numbers and number writing. :)
We continue working through the alphabet and are on our third cycle of literacy. Continue asking your children about the letter of the day and working on the sounds and words that begin with the letter. When reading at home, have your child find the letter of the day in books. We have all made SO much progress and we are so proud of all of our kiddos!
