Birds are Amazing!

We continue to dive deeper into learning about birds and are amazed by their feathers and how God created such detail in His design.  We are blessed by birds all over our property to view, as well as a parent who also raises chickens and ducks and shared some great feathers and even wings with us today.  Thank you Elizabeth Quam!  We loved Darian's show and tell! 

So, right now, we are hooked on digging up all we can on the design of feathers and are learning some great vocabulary along the way!

We have also had a VERY busy week of birthdays and too much sugar for our active little bodies to handle when we can't run and play outside.  If you are on the snack calendar for next week, please think veggies and cheese.  :)  We need a detox.  We love birthdays, just not the sugar crashes. 

Next week we will have our Valentine's Day Party!  Please bring 20 Valentine cards for our classroom friends, along with a decorated box to store them in.  We will also have our vision testing on February 14th!  ;)
