Birds and Snow Fun!

We have had a blast playing outside and searching for birds.  We have seen so many beautiful cardinals and have heard so many birds singing to us when we stop and listen!  We are starting to learn the parts of a bird and have used our chickens and ducks for some hands on learning.  :)

We will continue our study on birds and look forward to more nature hikes and quiet exploration trudging through the snow.
Does it get any cuter than sweet kiddos playing in the snow?  We love our time outdoors!

Please remember that we do not have school on January 21st or 28th due to professional development.

Hugs!

Hollie

Getting ready to go outdoors is always so much fun!
Sometimes, you just have to put on your pretty clothes and pretend to be a princess, right, Ms. Jill?

Fun chalkboard blocks for practicing our letters.
A rhyming game to help us put all the parts on a bird.  :)

Yoga and scarves is always great fun!

We found evidence that a bunny was nearby.

Binoculars to help us find birds.

 Bunny tracks!
 Can you spot the cardinal?
