Another week of fun and learning! This week, we continued our study on woolly bear caterpillars and worked on the letter I. We have been loving our morning math lessons of counting, adding and subtracting apples using our flannel board. We will continue I for next week, as we had a short week and spent Thursday on our "field-trip". We all enjoyed hunting for pumpkins and painting them while enjoying the fall beauty at "the pond" next door. What a blessing it was to watch the children play outside with huge smiles of pure joy on their faces.
We are all getting better at writing our names, now that we have our daily sign in sheet. I love watching them work so hard each morning and their deep concentration to get all the letters on the page. Keep practicing at home. :)
Our Halloween party will be on October 30th! Please have your child come to class with their costume already on. We will play games and do crafts together and I think we will be having a special visitor that day. ;) I am looking forward to the fun we will share and the memories that we will make being silly.
We still need one more craft activity, if you would like to help plan this, please let me know.
Have a great weekend!
