Another Week of Pure Joy!

It was a very happy week at preschool with lots of smiles and so much new learning and recalling. We are officially Woolly Bear experts and I think we are ready to study rainbows, as we have lots of rainbows show up in our classroom with the sunlight shining thought the windows. The children are amazed and very curious about how the rainbows appear and I am excited for the investigating to continue.

This week, we will hold off on rainbows and have fun with pumpkins and Halloween, and all the excitement that comes with costumes and being silly. Remember that our party will be on Thursday and children may come to preschool in their costumes, ready to party!

We have been dong a lot of games to help us with rhyming. Some of us have it figured out, and some of us are still struggling. Rhyming is a very important early reading skill. We will continue to learn about rhyming with more hands on games that keep us engaged. It has also been fun to bring out the nursery rhymes and recite them together. :)
