Amazing Grace!

Things are really starting to get fun at "The Big Red Barn"! Our class has figured out how to be a little classroom family and the love just keeps getting stronger for one another. We now are very aware of our classroom routine and know how to sit at group time...WAHOO! We are not perfect, but who is, and we are FOUR! Sitting for too long is overrated. ;). We need to move and this class loves to dance and sing!

We have now been able to release one butterfly and wait
for the other two to emerge from their chrysalis'. Everyone is excited about fall and Ms. Jill and Ms. Hollie have some fun activities planned for next week, as we celebrate Autumn and the beauty that God has blessed us with to appreciate and wonder about. We are ready for some more exploration outside!

We learned about the letter L and worked on colors this week. Colors are pretty easy for us and making L's with playdoh and on our handwriting page was a great success.

Next week we will study the letter "E" and learn about shapes.

Ms. Jessica was here on Thursday working through some formal assessments(what a blessing she is to all of us) and the students LOVED playing "games" with her! So fun to see them so excited to share their knowledge with us.

Enjoy your weekend and your sweet children. We love them so very much and thank you for sharing them with us during the week! We are excited for a new week to see what God has planned to teach us. :)

REMiNDER!  Picture day is Monday!  Pray for beautiful weather, as our pictures will be taken outdoors.  After pictures are edited, you will receive a link to the website for ordering.  :)

With the cool, damp mornings, it would be great if your child could bring a pair of rubber "chore" boots to play outside in.  We have been doing a lot of exploring and have been getting wet socks and shoes.  Wal-Mart usually has these pretty cheap.  I would love it if each student could have a pair to leave at school.  How adorable would 20 little kiddos be in rubber boots in the backyard?

Thanks for all you do as families!
