Halloween Fun!

We are getting so good at writing our names!

This class LOVES to craft!

They always fine a way to get wet and dirty.

I love that the students love helping care for our farm animals.  We worked hard untangling the chord for the deicers for the animal's water tanks.  :). They loved watching the deicer work wonders on an iced over tank.

Back to feeding the chickens more grain since the bugs are hiding away for winter.

So many helpers in the coop.

Great writing practice using feathers.

We LOVE parent helpers.

She's a pro at balancing!

More mommy helpers playing fun games.

Extra story readers is so nice.

We had a visitor come to the classroom.  We love The Humbug Witch.

Ms. Mai from the library came and the students were amazing the day after Halloween.  We were sooooo proud of them.

They could read all day.  Look at that sweet head on my shoulder.  Thank you Jesus for these sweet children.

Sometimes they choose to eat snack away from all the chaos.

Happy Birthday!

Sweet friends comforting after an ouchie.

Lenna takes her job of guarding these children seriously.  Sorry about her barking at parents, but since she knows I love and care for these children, it is her instinct to guard them.  Pretty amazing and beautiful.  She watches them from the deck while they play.

Serious fort building.  I love the joy that simple materials bring to children.

When the milking stand turns into a ship ready to sail.

Because when I'm not at preschool, I'm dealing with a kitten that is as wild as the children.  Punkin  climbs the Christmas tree to the tip top and our tree is tall.

It was a week with a lot of excitement and fun!  We had a great time celebrating Halloween together with lots of parents and it was such a great time.  Thank you to everyone that helped in the classroom and prepared snacks and goodies to share.  Our snack was amazing!  Ask your child what they had for snack at our party...it was definitely art and very healthy, too.  We had fun games, crafts and for the first time ever, I don't think the students knew it was me in the witch costume.  I love watching their faces when I take off the costume.  :)

We have a busy November and December ahead of us with lots of activities.  Please continue to check emails and the blog for important dates.  We are still trying to have a date confirmed with the Church for our Christmas program and will let you know as soon as we find out.

Conference information was sent out in an email.  Conferences are not mandatory and your preschooler is encouraged to come along.  :)

Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy this beautiful weather.  :)
