Spring is Here!

I can feel it, the chickens feel it, the goose and duck feel it and the goats and donkey are praying that pasture comes up soon!  Bring on fresh pasture and no more expensive dry grass hay!

Spring is in the air and something else too, as we have been extra crazy in our room.  I have talked with lots of teachers and I am thankful we are not alone.  Getting back into a routine is hard, but I know that next week is going to be amazing.

We are going to dive deep into seeds, plants and all things growing!  We have seeds ready to start, vegetables and fruit ready to taste and so much learning along the way.  I can't wait to have them help till and plant the garden!  Wahooooo!  We are going to start the garden this year next to the beehive to bless the bees and plants, which will bless us!  My prayer is that your children see all of this happening and appreciate the beauty of taking care of all of God's creations.

I had a wild idea to have a classroom conference and then private ones if you prefer.  I'm sure you all have a lot of the same questions and I feel like we could bless one another if we met as a group.   I am sad that the kids don't get Kindergarten roundup and would love to show them pictures of the teachers and talk to them about anything they are wondering.  I will think more on this and get back to you on the details.   During this conference, we could discuss EK vs. Kindergarten and skills that I believe are helpful to have before heading into Kindergarten.
