Ms. Hollie's Preschool at the Big Red Barn: CHRISTMAS!

We love Christmas and have so much excitement! It might be absolutley crazy and extra loud, but we truly try to embrace the moments. These sweet children are only little for a short time and they deserve to be filled with joy that is difficult to contain. We have been practicing our Christmas play and we are already impressed with how they are starting to memorize the songs and their lines. We will work every day until the program and they are being so patient waiting to play while we practice each morning. On Thursday as we were going over the songs one last time for the day, as sweet little boy looked up at me and said, "Ms. Hollie, when do we get to play with the toys?" So sweet and innocent. Practice is hard work and we did have another student explain to the class what practice means(his daddy is a basketball coach). Gosh, we are so blessed to spend our mornings with your children.

We are still continuing our study on building and will be doing some fun STEM projects this week to keep our brains learning about construction, but Christmas is on the top of our list! We LOVE crafting and glitter is the BEST!

Important Dates-

December 15- Gingerbread House Making Party(Parent's welcome)

December 17- Baking a gingerbread man and Polar Express(Wear your pajamas) LAST DAY OF PRESCHOOL before break.

December 18- Christmas Program at 5:30 pm Nord Kalsem in Huxley. Please have your child arrive at 5:15 to get into costume. This is our first time in this building for a program, so we are unsure of how many will be seated. We welcome standing if needed. The program is VERY short and sweet.
