I can't even explain the excitement and magic that took place at The Big Red Barn this week...we truly had an amazing time together! The giggles and screams were actually the best therapy for me right now and your children are a true blessing in my life.
Our gingerbread houses turned out so beautiful, and we loved having so many parents here to help. We love making their sweet aprons as a Christmas gift and special memory and they each looked adorable. :)
Our last day together was the most magical day of the year wearing pajamas to ride The Polar Express, drink hot cocoa and then baking a gingerbread man in Ms. Hollie's oven. It's so much fun to get to enter through the door where Ms. Hollie actually lives. I love sharing my home with the children and watching their eyes light up as we get to bake together. We could not believe that silly gingerbread man actually escaped the oven while we were at preschool waiting for it to bake. What an adventure following the clues around my house to find that silly little guy. It always amazes me that they want to eat the gingerbread man who was running all over my house. ;) We were all sooooooo excited when we finally found him and the screams were recorded as proof.
The perfect ending to our time together before break was our simple and sweet Christmas program. Nothing is sweeter than listening to children sing songs about the birth of Jesus.
Thank you all for your love and support. I pray that you all have a wonderful Christmas break with your family and friends. Remember that even during the crazy days where you feel like it is just too much, they grow up so fast and you truly will miss it.
