Fall!

We are officially finished with bees! We have not seen them buzzing around as much and we have started to explore all things fall.  As we walk around the trees outside, the students have been pointing out the different colors they see and of course the chill in the air is not easy to ignore.  God has made nature so entertaining for us, if we just stop and take the time to observe.  We have started our study by collecting different leaves and reading lots of books about why we see less green and new colors.  We are learning about chlorophyl and the kiddos love using their new vocabulary word.

With the rain this past week, we were able to have an amazing full 20 minutes of yoga and we all stayed focused and participated beautifully!  One of my greatest joys is watching these young children find joy in the movements of their body and relaxation of their minds.  So peaceful.

We will continue going on lots of nature walks this week and soaking in the beauty of the changes that fall brings to us.

Please continue to work on name writing, as we have started signing in each morning by writing our names.  If your child is struggling, it is perfectly fine to focus on just the first letter.  :)  We have been working on writing names a lot during our small group times and I am so proud of their dedication and confidence.

Have a blessed weekend.
