So Much Fun!

We have had an amazing week at preschool with an abundance or learning and hands on exploration!

Our study of snow and animal tracks has been a blast and we love being outside doing investigations.

We have been really digging into letter sounds and reading silly stories made up of each of the letters we are focusing on! This class is also very interested in punctuation while I am reading large books.  Ask you child about an explanation point, question mark and period!  I am amazed how observant they all are!
We have also been learning about syllables or "how many beats" are in different words and names.  Clap out words with your child to practice this important phonological skill.

Thursday was a great day with an impromptu "field trip" down the gravel road to some beautiful land with lots of animal tracks, a playground and a little playhouse! We even took turns getting pulled in the sled.  We love nature hikes with an added bonus of play equipment!  I have awesome neighbors!

Enjoy your weekend and I look forward to new adventures and new animal tracks next week!

I didn't mean to upload the picture of my daughter and dog, but can't seem to delete it.  Enjoy!
