Animal Prints

We are continuing to study winter weather and are now diving into the animal prints that are left in the snow!  While outside today, we discovered so many great animal tracks!  Deer, goats, rabbit, chicken, small wild birds, cats and dogs!  Man, our playground is crazy!  I reminded our friends why we NEVER eat snow in this yard!  😳

We have finished our first cycle of recognizing all the letters in the alphabet. Most of us know them all and we will continue to work in small groups to make sure we all leave preschool recognizing letters.  Be practicing at home, too!

We are beginning our second cycle of letters, where we will focus on sounds.  Today we worked on L and tomorrow will be T.

We will be having a Valentine party on February 11th.  Your child should bring 19 Valentine cards and please just have them sign their own name.  If we try to write all of our friends' names, it gets crazy trying to pass them out.  It is a good idea to do a few Valentine cards a night, so your child does not have to write their name 19 times in one sitting.  This is great practice and can be fun if you just do a few each day.  😃  We will decorate bags at school to place our cards in.

Have an amazing week!
