Making Friends

One of my favorite parts of teaching preschool is watching sweet friendships form.  I can already tell that this class is going to be close knit...they all seem to enjoy one another, but there is always someone special that each child bonds with and it so precious.  I also love how they are "best friends", but they aren't quite sure of their name yet.  Precious.

We had another great week of learning and playing.  Each caterpillar has now formed a chrysalis, so now we wait.  :)  We are working on building strong fine motor skills to help with writing.  At this age, children start to have a desire to be able to write their name, but it can be hard.  We just keep building muscles and practicing.

Next week at preschool we will continue our study on butterflies...there is so much to learn, and we are still very interested, so we will continue learning.  We will also begin learning about autumn as we enter the change of the seasons.

Important Dates-

Monday, September 22nd- Ms. Mai from the library comes for a visit to our classroom.

Lake(who has a messy behind as he is allergic to grass) is always a class favorite.  We love him, even though he is a bit gross.

We don't want our water days to end.  The weather has been great for water and mud.
