Here at the Big Red Barn we are excited, sad, energetic, confused and taking in all the feels. I go from just wanting the year to be over to making an Instagram post with your beautiful children and crying until I can hardly catch my breath. They are so very loved here. Your children are not just a number on a roster or a score on my online documentation for the state, they are not the best student, hardest student, etc., they are simply a child of God who we could not love anymore. They are His and they are treasured.
God knows what he is doing when He starts getting these kiddos all crazy at the end of the year where I sometimes wonder why I do this job...those sweet blessings take every ounce of energy my body and mind can handle and I beg Him to give me rest. It prepares my mind and body to desire the rest to amp up for another class of amazing children and makes passing them along just a tad easier. Ha! It is true that the good times go by so fast. :)
Soooooo, we are going to enjoy these last 11 days before graduation. We will soak it all in and love them a little harder and hold them a little tighter and praying a little more that we have prepared them to love Jesus, respect others, take care of nature and all God's creatures, stand up for what they believe in, solve problems without always asking for help, take on challenges that seem too big and feel the success or failure, love learning, listen to others with a kind heart, and so much more! They are ready for the next big leap...they have grown so much and are ready....but, it is so hard to let them go. :(
This week has been great, even though we miss Ms. Kelly(she will return on Wednesday) and we can't wait to see her again and find our routine again. Nothing is ever the same when one of our preschool family members is gone, especially someone that helps hold us all together. We love our Ms. Kelly.

May 17th- Water Day(wear suits with cover ups, trunks with t shirts) Praying for nice weather.
May 18th- Graduation- Be at Grace at 12:45
