Wow...it has been a while since I updated, and we have had so much going on. Spring is so much fun on the farm and being outside with friends is truly amazing! The messes and memories are worth all my energy to make this preschool a happy place for children and families.
We have been so busy learning about chickens, all things oviparous, plants, worms, moles, and all the wonders that the children discover on their own. Yes, it is true. We had a retired teacher who loves learning with children and happens to be my daughter's boyfriend's grandma (Nanny) who collects pretty unique animals to share with children. :) It was my first time seeing a mole up close and we all enjoyed our time with Nanny and her mole. ;)
We are nearing the end of our time together at preschool and my heart is aching. I say it every year (except last year), but this year truly is special to me and I am going to miss this group so much. These children have strong bonds and beautiful loving friendships. They are kind, creative, love learning and SO MUCH FUN! Let's make these last several weeks the best yet.
