Plants

Well, we all got in the mood for spring and started a little project study on plants and we are sticking to it.  We love our little indoor greenhouse and will add more to it each week until the weather allows for outdoor planting.  This snow is throwing me for a loop.  Currently, we are growing sprouts that will just be for snacking on and won't be transferred. I think we are going to attempt sweet potatoes next week.  :)

We had a wonderful week together and just allowed ourselves to slow down and enjoy one another and not worry about having the perfect lesson plans or recording data.  Sometimes I have to be quiet long enough to listen to the Holy Spirit telling me what is most important in my classroom.  I am thankful for my quiet devotional time that provides me with clarity to be the best I can be for your children.

February can be tough and we are determined to keep the learning alive and the momentum going!

Blessings for an amazing weekend!

This outdoor learning space is new this year and was not planned. The students took over this corner in my yard and it has been pretty magical.  Anyone want to help with spring landscaping to fix this "mess"?  ;)

Herding goats.

Marcus is using this stick as a tiller...it looks just like the old time tillers.

The other side of the room was chaos from the boys and several girls navigated to a quiet area to play.

So much learning!
