We have only been together two days, but we are already in love with these sweet children and their love for life. God has reminded each of us that we belong in the classroom with children and praying that we can empower each of them and their families.
We are ready for an amazing year together and feel so blessed that you have chosen us to be a part of your child's life for the school year. We had a perfect start to the year with everyone playing so well together and having so much fun. When we were heading out for our nature walk on Thursday, I glanced at my milkweed plants to check for caterpillars. I admit, I teared up a little when I saw two beautiful tiny caterpillars that we can now enjoy as a class. We are officially caretakers of two sweet monarch caterpillars and will be learning so much along the way. I can't wait to name them with the students on Monday. :)
