STEM, Chicks, Ducklings, Oviparous and so much more!

It's been a while, and we are having the time of our lives learning about all things oviparous and watching Goosa Loosa work hard to hatch duck eggs.  Yes, duck eggs.  See, Goosa has gone broody (ask your children what that means) and she is not married (aka, no daddy goose on this farm) but we do have drakes, so the duck eggs are fertilized, and she has claimed them as her own.  She is a VERY protective mama and we will see how this process goes.  Also, I do not need more ducks, so if anyone is interested in ducklings, let me know. :)

We had an amazing day last week having Central Iowa STEM come to our class to interact with the students and they were so impressed by our class.  It's so nice to have outside visitors remind us just how magical our classroom is.  I absolutely love watching your children interact with visitors and show them how kind and inviting we are.  We had several sweet boys even open the door for our visitors.  What a wonderful example you are setting for your children.

It is unbelievable that our time together is coming to an end, and we are soaking up every minute.  Now that the weather is amazing, we spend most of our days outside and the learning is intense when the limited four walls is taken away and we have the world to explore.

I do have extra Ms. Hollie's sweatshirts if anyone would still like to purchase one.  :)

Here is a sneak peak of our time together at preschool!
