We are in full swing Christmas spirt at The Big Red Barn and loving every minute of it. Your children are so creative and learning so much through their amazing and creative play.
This week we put out a Santa's workshop area where they can wrap "presents", make toys, and we created a Christmas cookie baking area where Mrs. Claus(Cora) was so exhausted from all the baking, that she took a pretend nap right at the kitchen table. Santa(Gavin) even created a sleigh from a bench that he loaded with gifts and taped string to as reigns. Really, they amaze me so much! LET THEM PLAY!
Things will continue to get busy and we will continue to love and laugh a little more each day. Celebrating the birth of Jesus in so many ways. :)
Remember that THIS Thursday is our gingerbread house making party. I assembled the houses(with only one blistered finger) with graham crackers and melted sugar and we are ready to spend Thursday morning decorating and having fun. Wait until you see the adorable aprons that Ms. Kelly and her sweet mom made for all the students.
