Bees, Hexagons, and Tie Dye Plans

Hello!

What an interesting week we had last week with all the weather changes. We are excited to see sunshine in the forecast next week! We are planning to do a fun tie dye day next week, so please be sure to send a white T-shirt with your child if you haven't already.

We continued to learn all about bees last week. We learned that bees make their honeycomb in the shape of hexagons. Ask your child how many sides a hexagon has and help them count to six if they don't remember. If you want a quick one minute video that revisits why bees use hexagons in their honeycombs, you can click here

A reminder about some important dates:

  • PICTURE DAY will be on May 12/13 - we will take pictures on your child's normal day on the way in to class and then have class as normal that day.
  • GRADUATION DAY will be May 28 from 12p-1p in the circle driveway.
We adore your children and count it such a joy to see them learn and grow every day we have preschool together!

Ms. Hollie & Ms. Sam
