During the election last week, our class held our own election and the majority of our students voted to begin a study on ramps! Ms. Jill and Ms. Hollie also LOVE this study, so it will be amazing. I was fortunate enough to take a STEM class last year about ramps and using this study to expand on many areas of our curriculum. We can already see the excitment and learning exploding. The students are so creative and we have enjoyed watching them plan and carry out their ideas.
Next week will be a VERY short week with preschool only being on Monday. With conferences being Thursday and then again on Monday, we are taking an extra day of break to breath a bit and prepare for our family arriving during Thanksgiving. Thank you to the families who we have visited with during conferences and we look forward to more on Monday. It is always a blessing to spend time with you and your children alone for a short time.
We have already started practicing for our Christmas program and to say that your children are excited, would be an understatment. They may even be more excited about the program than they were about conferences. Don't you wish students would always be excited for conferences? ;) The program is going to be fantastic, even if our wisement mispronounce "Frankincense and Myrrh". :) They make me giggle and bring me more joy than you can imagine. I am thankful that God is good and has shown me that there is always joy after the storm. Thank you, Jesus!
Have a blessed weekend and a wonderful Thanksgiving. We all have so much to praise Jesus for.
Hugs,
Hollie
