Six days of school and already so much learning and love.  We are having a blast together and I am so very proud of our class. 

This week we have focused on a lot of getting to know you activities, name recognition and writing, how to be a good friend, ways to calm down when we need to and how to be a good listener.  We are all doing great!

  We will begin signing in independetly each morning in a couple weeks, so keep practicing name writing at home.  Write names in chalk outside, in the bathtub or on a pan with shaving cream, or with a variety of writing tools.  Get creative and help them identify the letters, as well as write them.  Most importantly, don't push them and make them frustrated.  If your child is not interested at all, don't worry about it.   Each child is different and each child will develop these skills when they are ready.  :)  Remember, we want them to LOVE learning and school. 


Please remember to bring picture forms back on the 18th for picture orders, and t shirt orders back on the 20th.
