Winter Animals and now OWLS!

Wow, it seems like  things got really nuts after Christmas break!  I honestly am still not 100% follwing a schedule that I feel good about yet. It doesn't help that this is assessment time.   The weather has been crazy, which makes this teacher crazy!   From freezing cold to soooo muddy and gross!  One thing remains constant, and that is His love for us and His ability to hold us all together and give driection when we feel a bit out of sorts.  Thank you, Jesus, for your mercy and grace!

We have ventured from wanting to learn about animals in the winter and which ones, migrate, adapt or hibernate to wanting to know anything and everything about owls.  So, our study begins on owls and we are already learning so much!  Did you know that owls live on every continent except Antartica?  Ask your child what an owl does after eating it's prey!  :)  We are already having so much fun with our new study.  I am ordering owl pellets to dissect soon and I can't wait!

If you have not filled out a Kindergarten registration form, please grab one by the sign in board and return it to Ballard.  Thank you!

Praying for sunshine!

BIG HUGS!
