Christmas Fun!

What a magical time of year!  We have been working so very hard on our Christmas program and loving every minute of it!  We have some true little actors and actresses in our class this year!  

We have started working on one letter per day instead of one per week, as the students are ready to move at a faster pace.  It is exciting to bring a new way of learning literacy in our classroom and the students are really picking up on it.  We spend about 15 minutes each morning doing different letter activities with each letter we are working on.  Ask your child what the letter of the day was each day when you pick them up and then practice these at home.  The letter will be posted on the door each day.  😃

On Monday I will have a sign-up sheet at the sign-in table, which will include items to donate for our gingerbread cookie decorating party.  Please take a look and sign-up for an item or two.

Remember to be doing some shopping for gift donations to YSS!  I want us to fill that YSS van up on December 17th!  😃
