L is for Litter!

We have had a lot of fun this week, studying garbage, litter, garbage trucks and thinking about how important it is for us to keep this beautiful earth clean.  On Thursday we did some shape practice and worked on spatial awareness as we put together garbage trucks using 4 different shapes. We all did great!  We also enjoyed the book, I Stink, and then played an alphabet game that went along with the book, as we fed a garbage truck some yucky things.  

While outside, we each dropped a piece of litter to see how much of a mess it makes when everyone drops something. We are NEVER going to be litterbugs.  

Please have your adorable picture orders returned next Thursday.  Our photographer will come back next Wednesday to do any retakes that you want to to get and

a few kiddos who were sick. 

Next week we will continue our garbage study!  We will study the letter T, work on patterning and do some pollution experiments!
